    The joy of Windows. :D It's things like this that make me glad I still run Sir William Henry Gates III's OS, with Linux life would be too booring.

    The text isn't in line with the yellow picture. So its false.

    You guys are sooooo talking out your ass. It's a real error, received on my computer, screencap taken and uploaded by me. Any defects you see are simply from compressing it so not to piss off the 56k'ers.

    But if you still don't believe me I got the same error with that file and took a picture of the monitor with my digital camera HERE.

    Still not convinced? Played it again and got a third error. HERE is the uncompressed bitmap screenshot. So will the photoshop experts please sit down?

    I've gotten that (or something like it) before. Thank you Winamp!

    This just in from microsoft's marketing team:
    Catastrophic failures are a feature that proves how reliable and neccessary regular updates are, and don't forget to register your personal CDs for DRM upgrades as well, we wouldn't want you to be able to use your files on anything but microsoft products, now would we?

    winamp pro==best $15 I've ever spent.

    6.4

    Use to me my fav but new codecs like wmv don't play well on it so I've been experimenting with version 10, especially with playing music. My fav mp3 player(musicmatch jukebox, old version) is painfully unstable since switching to Xp. Time to get off my ass and hunt around for something.

    Just use WMP10. No errors or problems, but the only flaw is that in 8 and newer, spacebar isnt pause/play.

    Or you could use (better than WMP 10 imo) Winamp 5. I just hate wmp with its umbilical cord to the internet and its anti-piracy auto file lock things. So annoying.

    Another vote for winamp. I previously only used Winamp 2.x but the ipod plugin didn't work quite right on it so 5.x it is now. After about five seconds it's about the same. And as tm36usa noted, no DRM crap.
