Ok lots of updates. Well it may not look like alot, but this is about 3 days worth of fiberglassing, sanding, bondo, sanding, puddy, sanding, priming, sanding. Did I forget sanding? :) Everything is starting to take shape now and it is begining to look how I want it. There are still some spots that need work, but you all can see where I am going now.

    Full front smoothed down

Inside door has been smoothed out and primed

    Drivebay is getting there lol

Feel free to tell me what needs work or that I should change.

This mod is not dead, I have just been really busy and I was gone last week from thursday to tuesday. Now I am back though and I have a little bit of an update for you all. The front door is getting its first shot of color. I have had problem after problem with this case. Due to only having about 2 weeks to finish this and money shortages (Great being a college student...) the candy apply red color is now imposible. They were taking too long to send it, then sent me the wrong color. I had to improvise, and this is the color I decided to use. Hope you all like it.

This pic was taken before any sanding

This was after the sanding. It has some alcohol on it still from clean up

Another pic of the door. I think it is looking pretty good.

The front has gotten a pretty big make over. May not look like much, but there has been a lot of filling and sanding and priming going on. That crator you see in there is gone now. Not sure why it looks so big, but it was tiny and sanded out.

Close up of the bezal part. You can see that it is coming along nicely. Again this is before sanding. I forgot to take a pic of after sanding and I am too tired to get the camera out again.

Well that is it for now. Hope that those of you following this mod are satisfied and not too dissapointed with the later update and color.

    Not too shabby!

Going for a car theme, eh? The key-lock is nice. Have you considered a "hood scoop" on the top of the case, and maybe a curvy "wing" at the top-rear? The CM Musketeer has a couple analogue gauges if you felt like changing the backplates for em to like a tach and speedo and oil pressure or something... And nothing screams rice like a fold-out DVD player. (Naturally, every suggestion I made here is "rice". I actually meant something like the stock wing on the 240sx, not a tri-foil racing wing or anything.)

Meh, just thought I'd throw out some ideas. Good job with the bondo so far. Looking forward to the next update!

The hood scoop was part of the plan from the begining. I just need to order it. It is all going to be fiberglassed up smooth. The project is not perfect, but it is looking pretty good for only having a month to mod and having to work all day.

Well everything is going a little smoother. I did run into a little problem. I forgot to take in consideration that the paint adds thickness...... So I had to do some sanding to get the door pannel to fit ok. Now I need to reprime the main front part and get it ready for color. Everything is sanded supper smooth and shoudl turn out well. I am glad you all aprove of the color. My mod may not be as interesting or perfect as the others on this forum, but it is not bad for the time and tools I have available right now
