This is my first entry at the POTM and the picture I took is bit odd one might think, it's actually a HDR photo. So it's composed of three photos.
As everyone can see it's a church and the thought of the whole shot is something like "The time is running away and eventually you die, some might say that you go away or even go to sleep. And most people sleep in the night so..." I know it's a longshot, but hey the photo was taken during the night so. Well, well.. I like the photo and specially the texture of the Church itself.

I know that the Lensflare is a bit distrubing but I didn't see it untill I got home. The photo was taken with a bin playing the role as the tripod.

    Enjoy

I like the glow on the clock face it gives it a nice eerie feel; the angle is unusual but works well.
    V.nice shot :)

Interesting picture. I think the composition is off though. As you say yourself the texture is great. I really like the "effect" look. It looks almost like a render for a game or something. Very fantasy like. Nice shot :)

Just an idea, but might it be worth trying to clone out the spots of rain on the lens, they are a little distracting and take away from the way the rain is driving sort of horizontal which I think really adds to the picture. Maybe if you can make the rain seem more pronounced aswell but I havn't got a clue how to do that, but maybe play around with the tone mapping a bit more in makign the HDR or something. But as it stands I think its a great pic so I don't know why I'm complaining.

Something in the composition seems a bit off but i love it all the same. :D Nice post processing, the colours and texture make it very unusual.

I agree - the camera was pointed a touch too far to the right IMHO. Perhaps some creative cropping could fix that (get the point of that tower along the right-most third). Otherwise, I absolutely love it. I'd suggest that the lens flare is a lucky accident - it kind of adds to the surrealism of the shot.
