    is *this* the backlight?

What determines the backlight color for this LCD unit? Is it the two bright white lights visible on the right side here and here? (Plus in a lot of the other pics in the article?)
Oh, and the MO LCD 0wnz, Haz! mmm...8 GPO's. I HAVE to get me one.

P.S. Is it OK if I use direct links like this to your article pics, as long as it is in the forums?

Yup thats the 2 leds at the side of the device. They are mounted in a piece of perspex / acrylic which runs along the back of the lcd itself. The leds then make the whole thing glow giving the backlight !

Yup, tigermain is right. There's a mod to one of the graphic lcds over at icehardware somewhere where they change the colour of the lcds to look damn swanky...and yeah, as long as they're in our forums its cool :)

I must be being really dumb here, but is http://www.borderfield.com/ meant to be in dutch or german or whatever it is? I can't find LCD Center there anyway...

Also unhelpful is that it's blocked by my school's filter as porn. WTF?

Please could someone point me in the right direction? Google is most unhelpful :waah:

    thanks
