No photo of test setup :(. Would be fun to see that HD5870 on this board :D.

lol I love itx builds. Still would prob go the intel route mind at least until AMD Fusion. Then itx will really come into their own =)

"This is no great loss, as we're betting not many people actually have 7.1 setups."

Speak for yourselves damn it. I'm currently running a 7.1 setup with 9 Bowers & Wilkins 600 series speaker and a Klipsch 10". There are plenty of us out there who go to extreme lengths when it comes to quality sound damn it!

I think you completely missed the point in that most people don't have surround sound and for the people who do have surround sound, most of them use 5.1.

Sure, that 5780 is almost twice the length of the board, but I would have also liked to see the heatsink on it as well. Probably would have doubled the weight, even with the 5780 :p

Lmao Pete, I just specced up a cheap barebones setup with this and it came to ~£190! The one I had was nothing though, just the board, cheap 2GB Kingston value 1333 DDR3 SoDIMM and an X2 245. Still, could make a decent media PC - better than an atom anyway.

Like javaman said though, it's best to wait until Fusion. If anything this should become even cheaper!

Would be lovely to make a small gaming PC, but at the end of the day a board like this isn't going to help much as it's the graphics and power supply that force the size..

ya I use a 7.1 setup at home too

Anyhow this looks like a nice board a side from the audio problems but I would just go with optic or hdmi to a receiver in that case.

This is just an overclocked 785g board so no full HD audio with PAP so it has to have a 5*** series card to pass thru full HD audio

Just picked up this board, the lowest of the low Sempron CPUs 2gb of 1333mhz ram and a Lian Li PC-Q08 case as a bundle on Ebay for 150 notes! (Stupid cheep considering the lot would cost about £320 new!)

Cant wait to swap out the CPU and see what this thing can do!

Also cant wait to ditch my Atom ITX System *Spits on floor*

Lovely build Harry! Somewhat ironic given its small proportions but looking good :D
