    Got my 4 games yesterday too. 4 free games? Thank you very much! Did buy 2 other games because they were much cheaper than they currently are on Steam though, (especially the empire / napoleon total war pack) which is great as you still get the benefits of Steam.

    And isn't the 'while stocks last' because they have only bought a certain number of product keys which they can distribute, so while physical stocks can't run out they can only have so many keys to give away.

    Got the 'Adult Pack' of free games. They're sitting pretty in my account at the moment but I wont have teh internetz til the first of June. Anyone know if there is a time limit on downloading or are they there for good now?

    As with any promotion there will be a conversion rate. I bought Golden Axe already, granted it was 49p but there's a chance I'll buy again. I get 150% higher dowload speeds with Dixons that I get with steam...

    Meh, Steam works fine for me. Unlike other services, you can always redownload a game for life.

    I was getting good speeds then I tried downloading the allstar racing and the megadrive collection and I'm getting less than 512 Kbit/s so yeah, there servers must be getting hammered. Also none resumable downloads? Boooo

    Just chose the adult pack. Now I own three copies Medieval II: Total War and I'll probably never bother playing the other games but free is free.

    The thing is, what with the attention the Steam Bargains thread gets and the wide variety of places with bargains that are mentioned on it, I would hazard a guess we'll be hearing more from Dixons, especially at bargain times!

    On a side note, an interest in gaming like this from a big player could prove to be more than just a thorn in Game Group's side ...
