    Any update on this? There was a deadline that appears to have passed, plus lots of rumours this was an elaborate PR stunt. It all seems a bit odd.

    If it's a PR stunt, it's one that's making Sony look very, very stupid. The company still isn't talking, but someone claiming to be one of the attackers - a claim in no way verified, I might add - says the systems are still locked, that it was an inside job with the aid of like-minded staff members, and that their demands are for 'equality' rather than cash.
