It looks like it's been purposely hamstrung with only a single 8 pin PCIe connector - not impressed with the Ti at all, for me it's either 1070 or 1080.

Similar money buys you a GTX1080, which offers a little more performance, just looked on Amazon. Why buy a GTX1070ti?

It's what I've been saying from the start - even at the £420 RRP it looks like bad value compared to a £350 standard 1070 or £460-470 1080... Adding anything onto that for a slightly better heatsink (when almost all Pascal cards have similar clocking potential) just makes it an even poorer buy.

Buying any Pascal card so close to its EOL, is a pretty stupid thing to do right now.

Unless you have your current card fail on you and don't have a spare, you'd be far better off waiting for Volta now, details of which are bound to break early in the new year.

Didn't nvidia just announce that their next gen cards are not really coming any time soon?

I wish these benchmarks would include some older cards, how does this perform against a 980 or 780?

A 980 performs similarly to a 1060. Easy enough to find that info. ;)

Isn't Volta expected in Q2 2018, so at least five months away?
