Aluminium top + TKL + volume wheel + mechanical + from a brand that does UK layout = Dreams do come true...

Wait what? $229 for a keyboard? What are you smoking?

The specs sound pretty good if that’s what you’re after, but I just think it’s ugly.

I'd love one. There's not much choice of wireless mechanical keyboards. But at that price, for a tenkeyless... absolutely not. Maybe at $100 less.

Only up to 40 hours battery life, if you use the lights. You'd have to be a bit of a knob to pay so much money for it, if you are not going to use the lights. Given my recent PC usage, it would need charging twice a week so, pretty soon I would end up leaving it plugged in all the time...

I've never seen the appeal of tenkeyless keyboards. Even on laptops, I try to get one with a numeric pad. But then, I do still play Civ 4...

Space saving is a fairly common reason I think.
I use one at work and have been using 60% boards for years at home, can't imagine having a full size board on my desk.

I prefer having a separate numpad to the left of the keyboard tbh.

Personally a TKL lets me keep the mouse closer to the center of my workspace - better ergonomics which pays off for shoulder health. And considering I'm at the PC all day, I rate that quite highly.

Had one. Loved the moveable numeric pad and first keyboard I had with media controls that "just worked" - all of them - and the variable intensity backlight. Hated typing on the thing - gaming was OK. Still have it (somewhere). If I could get a Filco silent red board with a soft red backlight, I'd be very happy.

I too had a Sidewinder, and still miss the dedicated calculator key.
