It's been a busy week for me at work,so I manage to made some progress today.I start cutting the acrylic. First sheet Drilling holes,so the front panel can fit on properly on place It's time for the second panel And the final result Not bad at all.I still need to fix the supporting bars,cut the the front panel and install the radiator.I'm planning this for tomorrow,so stay tuned for more
I've made some progress today and yesterday. The openings for the front radiator are ready My trusty jewellery motor next to the dremel Back from the past-Made In GDR.Still working perfectly since 1980 And in action And the rads in place with some of the hardware Now it's time for painting.Stay tuned for more
Another update from today with some photos of the painting job. Good scrubbing of the rads Ready for few coats of primer And job done I couldn't resist to apply the silver color on one of the parts Looks promising That's all for now.Very soon there will be more photos
Hi everyone, Another update with photos Until I was waiting the paint to arrive, I decided to make a new front grill for the case. Starting with piece of acrylic Cutting the existing front panel,so the new grill can fit Final adjustments on the front panel And the grill fits perfectly on place Still gonna be like door Existing doors needs to be cut It's time to do the grill And the final product There will be a mesh between the grill and the existing doors and I'm planning to add something in the middle,so stay tuned for more

I've made silver coil with my previous project blue,this time I decide to go further and to do something more than simple coil.So here we go I will do EK anticyclone plate from fine silver Usual tools for my projects Not really easy to cut,the silver plate is 4 mm thick But I've done it Final touches with the files And the plate is ready That is all for today.Stay tuned for more
nice, that is one very cool anti-cyclone plate... but I thought ek's offical standpoint was that silver is a no-no and voids their warranty regardless, it looks awesome, and would love one for my res!
don't worry, I know that... just thought it was a bit ironic, that EK dosn't want people to use silver, and then you go and carve an ek logo into a big slab of silver and put it in the middle of the res...
