Mod of the Year bit-tech Mod of the Year 2016 in Association with Corsair

holy crap how can we vote with that many amazing mods!

 

The standards get better every year. The styles have changed from quite wild to very clean and almost subtle in some cases. But good to see there are a few on the list that are a bit OTT.. Just how I like it. Still going to be hard to work out which ones to pick though.

One thing's for sure, a big well done to everyone in the MOTY

 

I am very honoured and happy to even be mentioned in MOTY.

Although, MOTY are of course, an intense fight. But you guys made me win MOTM in April, which is the same month as my birthday, so you have already sky rocket my confidence as person and made me feel like a winner on the inside, no matter what happens, and will always do. I will just say congratulations and super awesome work to whoever gets the first place on Mod of the year. I've already got my name on the wall this year, so I am happy for whoever gets to win, but remember you are all winners already! All of you!



Just find it odd that Corsair is still sponsoring this competition, because I never received any prize which I "won" in April - which is 7-8 months ago..

Massive thank you for both nominations! Feels rather interesting having one in both the mod and scratch categories, definitely didn't expect it.

 

I'm still waiting for the one I won in the MOTY in 2011, so don't hold your breath mate

 

Yup Corsair owe me two lots of prizes too, not had anything at all.

Bit of a skank really, getting free advertising and not keeping up their side of it. Partially why I asked that all of my rigs be withdrawn if they were ever good enough in the eyes of others to be voted on.

Any way whatever, I didn't do my mods for Corsair I did them for me

I was contacted about winning MUWC but not about second place in MOTM.

 

Yep, echo the above as missing my last MOTM prize too and have now given up on receiving it....at the end of the day we don't do it for the prizes do we?

Although I could do with the fans right now for a build

Water frame, mr 3D, aetos, pope and 3 leaves all got my vote. I also dropped a vote on Ivy. I don't usually pay as much attention to theme builds as I do to functional scratch builds and sleek water cooling, but there was something about it that made me smile.
