    Hey guys!!

Thinking about building a computer into my, for mp3s, possible dvds etc, but the only thing that has me worrried is how to power it?

Im guessing i can use some kind or inverter or something striaght off my car battery.... but i really dont have much of a clue, also i want to do this cheap, i have seen some power supplies designed esspecialy for this (think they are called opus) but the are waaaay to expensive, so is there a cheap option at all?

    any help appreciated!

    Cheers

I bought an old laptop a while back with a broken lcd. It's ideal because it doesn't really need any expensive inverter or a lot of room in the car. plus it was about 30-40 quid.

Haven't fixed it in permenantly yet because I haven't found a simple enough os that will just play music after boot and be controlled via the keyboard. everything I come across wants to do video or gps or wipe your rear for you. :eeek:
