1. removed acrylic from the front using alen key 2. removed grey card backing from acrylic 3. put acrylic in a new food back to avoid getting dirt on the inside face 4. scanned in grey card backing in grey scale mode 5. cleaned up the scan to create a template (made it black + white) 6. pasted apropriate h res picture from web onto template 7. printed on expensive glossey photo card 250gsm (this avoids tearing while cutting and looks cool) 8. cut out using stanley knife, the picture was put ontop of cereal box card so the body of the knife was used for cutting instead of just the tip. 7. new picture put in place behind acrylic in place of grey card 8. post results on bit-tech
I did something like this with my old case that I am using while I mod. Originally it was brushed alu sheets.
I wish someone would do something with the god awfull SN25P. Id pay for a new case front!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you can pry the acrylic off mate, apparently you heat and peal. Kustom PC used to do them but the company that replaced made the replacment front covers were less than reliable to say the least and so Kustom dropped them and rightly so. I wouldnt be brave enough to paint myself tho:/
