Check out this Ad-Aware scan that I did on a customer's computer...
haha, most i've seen is 700
holly crap, thats about as bad as my mums machine.
wow the most i have done is 691 and though that was bad.
You have to check each item in add-aware dont you? That would suck, almost 10000 items to check. At least there is a check all option in spybot search and destroy.
EDIT: Thats good, by time I use addaware after spybot, so there isn't much to check, dont know why I havn't right clicked in spybot though.
You can right click on one of the items in Ad-Aware and click on select all items. If I had to click on each individual one then someone's hard drive is getting formatted.
Bloody hell!! How many of those files are NOT cookies?
Most of the files were not cookies (about 95%), and only one was a trojan.
Photoshop 1337 (Joking )
That's what happens when you use Microsoft Internet Explorer that explores all your files
tbh, that is what happens when you go to dodgy porn or warez sites.....
wow and i thought my mom and dads puter was bad at 90 lol
OMG - A few hunderd is the most I've ever seen...
How was that machine running?
That beats the 3000 odd I saw one pc here, I reghosted it as it least I knew I was starting with a clean sheet.
My top was on my sister's computer about 3 days ago. the first few seconds already found about 600. Took about 20 min, when it was all done, it found 1,467 items. Took another 10 min just to quarentine.
i hope you didnt use their keyboard.....lots of spyware usualy means porn machine...
NO, we always use our own keyboards, and mice
D*&* i though i found alot on a costumers pc when i found 1400. I was funny how amazing he thought i was when i showed him his pc after i got done.
That is simply insane!!! I have seen people break 1,000 before, but never that high!! I am annoyed when the number on my computer reaches 25. :
Mamma mia! Never seen the 1000 barrier cracked on any computer before, and there's 10,000. Now, with all these things sending information over the Internet, just how slow did the connection become for this guy?
Bahhh that number is childs play.
Had to stop the scan since it was going upwards on 1.5 hours and I had more offices to visit. This was Today!!!!!!!!!
This was a direct result of norton corp anti-virus having a problem since 2003 and not auto updating its virus definitions. He got hit with NetSky.
