    Hey guys,

I'm looking for data recovery software. I don't really have a price limit as I want to be able to do everything myself eventually. All the threads i can find on here are from 4+ years ago. Has there been any significant recovery software that has come out since then? I've researched a few brands but i'm never quite sure who's opinion i'm getting, Joe from some independent data recovery firm or Joe's Employer who owns the software!

The only professional data recovery solution I would consider is PC3000, but it isn't cheap.

Or if it's just going to be for personal use I'd probably go with Recuva or something similar.

Great, thank you! I thought about getting Recuva or paying for r-studio? On the cheaper end, but i'll certainly look into PC3000 as well. I'm looking at this as a hobby/side business possibly. Mostly just want to learn more.
