Memory DDR3 dimms?

    So a random question - does anyone know of any 16GB DDR3 Dimms; ECC but unbuffered (eg non registered).

    Struggling to find any info let alone sticks!

    IIRC Non-ECC Dimms topped out at 8GB because Intel consumer chips only supported up to 8GB. ECC Reg 16GB sticks are everywhere because Intel enterprise and AMD supported ECC Reg and up to 16GB per stick.

    THis is the correct answer.

    8GB is the max you'll get in DDR3 ECC Unbuffered
