Help me! I'm trying to install Windows XP PRO onto my new HD and I'm getting an error when it first boots up and loads all the drivers or whatever. About halfway through it gives the error disk.sys is corrupted press any key to continue. Well I press any key and my comp restarts. Is it my hard drive, or my cd? Any other information would also be helpful. Thanks!

Well, I have two hard drives hooked up, both 60GBs one is fresh and one has a version of XP PRO still on it, and due to technical probs I wanna keep that other HD in tact until I can salvage some files off of it.

unplug the one you want to keep, and try again.
