    Hmmm.... If it is still in the works they really need to just finish it off and get it out before anything else bad happens.

    Maybe because he has insider info on how bad the whole project was and why it was never released. Maybe he is bound to confidentiality for bad reasons instead of the only good one - that the game is still being made.

    throw a few textures on a game engine and fire it out, most ppl would buy it out of curiousity or novelity

    If it really comes out... I bet everyone is going to buy it... just for curiosity... but after so many years in development, maybe a copy of the game costs around 250€ :D

    Don't get too excited. They won't release anything along these lines until they've added auto-aim, health regeneration, and a third-person camera, by which time you could probably make up a name for it using your set of "First Person Shooter" fridge magnet words and release it as a PS3 exclusive that every games journo would spooge over.

    Maybe it is a game where duke is trying to kill the game, which if he is successful spawns a time loop continuum in which the games last forever, hence Duke Nukem Forever. I think the trouble is that the programmers cannot get past that point of testing, which has lead to insanity.
