Whenever I upload anything, the download speeds of my whole network come to a halt. I understand why this happens, but I need to find a way around it. Is there a way to limit upload speed in OS X? I've got a macbook pro, and it doesn't really matter how it works, as long as it will actually work. Whether its a new FTP client with a built-in speed limiter, a program that limits individual programs, or a limiter for the whole computer's upload speed, it doesn't matter.

Anyone know anything that could help?

Most FTP programs have advanced setting to limit the up and download speeds.

I've tried 3 different clients now, and none of them seem to have it... Anyone know of one in particular (Preferably a universal binary, but this is by NO means necessary) that has the limiter?

    CyberDuck doesn't have that. :sigh:

    Any other ideas?

(Though thanks for the Cyberduck idea, looks like a good client :thumb: )

Hm, nobody else knows how I can do this? I know it can be done SOMEHOW...

I looked around at other FTP programs and none of them seemed to be able to do it...
