Whenever I upload anything, the download speeds of my whole network come to a halt. I understand why this happens, but I need to find a way around it. Is there a way to limit upload speed in OS X? I've got a macbook pro, and it doesn't really matter how it works, as long as it will actually work. Whether its a new FTP client with a built-in speed limiter, a program that limits individual programs, or a limiter for the whole computer's upload speed, it doesn't matter. Anyone know anything that could help?
I've tried 3 different clients now, and none of them seem to have it... Anyone know of one in particular (Preferably a universal binary, but this is by NO means necessary) that has the limiter?
CyberDuck doesn't have that. Any other ideas? (Though thanks for the Cyberduck idea, looks like a good client )
Hm, nobody else knows how I can do this? I know it can be done SOMEHOW... I looked around at other FTP programs and none of them seemed to be able to do it...
