Windows hamachi alternative

    anyone know of a decent hamachi alternative (freeware)

    Sort of depends on your use case. I find tunngle to be pretty good for gaming use.

    but hamachi is free and works a treat ?

    If you're trying to play games via a VPN tunnel, there is also GameRanger. It only supports certain games, but is worth a try.

    kl thanks yeah i've heard of tunngle, i'll check games ranger out. as for hamachi i haven't used it for a long while and not sure i like what i see with the log me in website, the fact there is also a paid version makes me thinks they've watered down the free one one.

    ive had no issue with hamachi for a general VPN tunnel and games have worked a treat with good pings

    gArena may be a good alternative specially for gaming.
