Windows how to align desktop icons

    i want windows to automatically put new icons on the right side of the screen. how?

    Right click desktop.

    Arrange Icons By -> Auto Arrange.

    right as in the side, not as in "ordered". sorry for the confusion.

    turn your monitor upside-down.



    but seriously, i generally de-icon my desktop, but i used to manually drag em around to fit my current wallpaper.

    i dont just uncheck the "show desktop icons" thing - i actually remove them all.

    most are easy, except for the recycle bin, and that only takes tweakui to remove. generally makes bootup and shutdown go quite a bit faster.
