My workplace provides training to medical services so has various teaching aids and models. They are currently having a clear out and are replacing all the old worn models with new ones. I have acquired a rubber vagina used to train midwives which i plan to spray paint gold and mount on a wooden board. It will then become the 'Fanny of the Week' trophy and will be awarded to deserving recipients within my department. I am looking for advice on what kind of paint will stick to rubber as i don't want to end up with a flakey or indeed ruined vagina as they can be hard to come by. Please do not ask for pic's as this is a proper anatomical model and i do not wish to offend anyone.
Try some plastic based spray paint. Link to the pics wen you've done so you can see them if you want.
i'm lmfao that's awesome. If vaginas are hard to come by, i'd say you're looking in the wrong places. As for the paint, there are paints for vinyl around, most car accessory shops should have them. I dunno how long the paint would last since the trophy will get handled... dye seems like a good option. I think a soft healthy pink on the inside and a light tan on the outside would be nice, waxed not shaved of course so is this vagina a "worn model"? or is it fresh, new, what's the word.... or is it a virgin?
Sorry, I can't help myself, It's just endless fun. Mvagusta - it's used to train midwives so I'd assume windsock-esq
Thanks for the advice. I was thinking vinyl dye might do the trick. I take it vinyl dye does actually dye the rubber and not just leave a 'skin' on the surface? It is most definetly used. It has cosmetic damage to the outside and some tears internally. After seeing this i would never let a midwife loose anywhere near my genitals!
Heh, Best. Title. Evar. I think vinyl dye would be your best shot. And yes, it doesn't just add a layer of color on top like paint, it actually "penetrates" the surface. Don't think Ive ever seen it in metallic colors though.
You never mentioned you've had "the op!" ... even if you did i dont think a midwife would be that interested, well not on a professional level anyway ^_^
I'm think there's every chance that a midwife will never touch your genitals unless (a) I'm much mistaken, and you're actually female (cue "wow! a girl on teh interwebs!!1!!" thread) (b) You date or marry one (c) They invent male conception and expect you to have a natural birth My eyes are watering after thinking about option c...
lol I was referring to option B fibblebot. Do you think this vinyl-acrylic paint might work? It comes in several shades of gold. I'm not sure i want to ask them if its suitable for painting rubber vaginas from my work e-mail account!
