Any questions about this mod? Post em up here
A superb mod! Top stuff!
Congratulations on an awesome mod for one thing...
And congratulations on post 7-11 G-gnome. You are now a grocery store chain.
Not to my tastes, but still, impressive skills on show.
Nice job mate This one rocks, a full PC, RC Hummer
Well done, i must say. It's really neat inside.
However, why did you choose a hummer as your model? They're big, stupid, ugly, guzzle gas like there is no tomorrow, and are particularly unspectacular off-road. Was it a space issue?
Anyways, the workmanship is quite impressive, though i would think another vehicle would be more attractive.
Have you seen the X800 Pickup? It is very, very cool (and also by Robster).
I would like to say good job. I liked it alot.
I do have a suggestion, while I was looking through the log, I noticed you saying that you wanted portable power. Well how about making a trailer? If the gear ratio/ motor power is strong enough you could create a trailer to match that could have an APC battery back-up. You could run the cables as tho they were the lighting cable hook up, and possibly even mount an lcd monitor screen on it. Like a pop-up camper trailer? Could even hold the keyboard and mouse on the trailer, so when you roll into a lan event, You really are rolling! Nothing to carrry !
i saw that in custompc months ago or another mag which advertised bit thats how i found this place
Well, i can't say that i find that much better looking, but at least the pickup looked good before He got his hands on it. The end result is way too gaudy. Was that a show computer for ATI?
Perhaps if he hadn't opened up the bed.
That is an excellent mod and you just don't appreciate the size of that truck until everything is inside .
now thats a mod its EXCELENT, great, and one of the most original things iv seen in AGES.
waid a go
Love The Lights
I've seen this mod up close and personal, it's very well done. The pictures do it absolutely no justice. Hey robster, you still about anywhere?
I haven't been on for a long time, but I had to jump in and say excellent job mate, simply flooring.
Very nice mod, I did this myself a year ago using the same HumVee. Imitation is the best form of flattery. Here are some pics from various lans I've attended:
I do like the water cooling tho, nice touch
I am trying my first mod. I am modding a Hummer 1:6 scale vehicle. I see you has already this wanted to give it a try. I rusty with electronics and voltages. My mobo is much larger than intended and I had to cut and diconnect the wires that powered the headlights, tail lights, and accessory lights. Since they are now cut and there is a bundle of about 10-15 wires, how can I power these off of my power supply? I dont want to over power them. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thank you.
Lol... radiator is actually a radiator! Imagine that!
Well it would have been flatery iguess had i ever seen yours but nice job not to sure of the fan in the door kinda takes away from the whole truck look.
Was the best body for the job as i wanted room for a full comp and was all that was avaliable at the time although now they have a cadillac escilade that is slammed with big wheels and spinners hmmmm but no done the truck one time for something a little different
Separate names with a comma.
