i wouldn't know any other ways of getting around this.. (if you have any ideas please say! :))
but is it possible for someone to recreate certain image on photoshop?
i should be getting it as a tattoo.. and would just love to have it perfect for when i bring it into the parlor..? (i.e: no shading, solid lines..)

would anybody be willing to create it for me?
i can send them the image i would like.. and give them details about it (what needs changing etc)

or would anyone know where i could go to get this sort of help?
i wouldn't know where to start...

    thanks!

if you use the magic wand and set the colour select quite hight, it will only select the dark black lines, not the lighter areas, thus you can cut it out to remove the grey

Most tattoo artists should be able to do shading without any problem...

Whether you want shading or not......the principal is the same. A good tattoo artist will be able to create exactly what you want. If he/she cannot......run away!

Yes but don't take their word and.or portfolio for it. Ask around, word of mouth is important. Also never skimp on something that's going to be part of you for the rest of your life.
