Hi, In the case i am working on, in my plans i want to bend some perspex in to an arch. How do i do this with out braking it or making it go milky, any help would be good, thanx
I think you heat it up and then bend it round a pole or something? Dunno I've never done it before though.
Ok bending plexi 101... You need to build the form you want to bend the plexi around first, cinimedia pc (see forum front page) used a wood forum cut from a pipe or something. Then you cut the plexi to a rough shape of the object, then take some heating source... (I perfer using a propane torch but a heater device is better) and heat the perspex (plexi) and lightly push it down. You can bend a little at a time to get good results.
