    Most forces running operation snap require that the footage not be uploaded to social media;
It came up as I was looking in to them when they first popping up, know thy enemy and all that.

Absolutely this, where undertaking (especially at speed) fkg winds me up to the point of Dark Side hatred. In my fantasy world I want to buy a cheap banger and just pull across in front of people attempting it.

So stay in the inside lane and don't give them a chance to undertake.

The amount of fools I see every time I get on the M-Way that sit in lane 2 & 3 when land 1 is empty really gets my goat, I've given up going around them in an outside lane and just pass them on the inside now.

I think you want something heavier and more solidly built, like this nice little APC, solidly built and 30tonnes, you'll just feel a little bump:

Yup too many drive in the middle at 65..... to be honest doesn't matter if they were doing 80, get on the inside bloody lane when its clear, having to go from lane 1 to 3 to 1 just because some muppet has no lane discipline is a pain, I'll undertake rather than take evasive manoevre, I do a lot of driving at night, empty roads, still have that one guy in the middle........

I think the problem is in the naming. "inside lane," "middle lane," and "outside lane?" Nah: "driving lane," "overtaking lane," "if you're in this lane you're either going too fast or something's gone wrong lane."

More about meting out some Judge Dredd-style lane discipline enforcement.

But now instead in my new APC .

One of my customers does up Vivaro (and it's clones) vans and drives a shabby 03 plate one to work and as a runaround. There's a bit of road locally that has 2 lanes into 3 with a curved dotted line between lanes 2 and 3 where the original left lane splits in 2. We both approach in lane 1 on the left and follow the curved line to our right to stay in the new lane 2.
Many cars don't do this and come over from the right into lane 2 across that line. Often to have to brake to avoid them.
He has now stopped that and stays in lane at a sensible speed approaching the traffic lights after the split.
He was hit the other week by a car changing lane as he held his ground. 20 Yr old van has some paint on it and a small scratch, flashy new car not looking so good...
After explaining to the other driver the significance of the road markings, he left quietly. Being over 6ft helps!

Drive up the M6 on a Friday afternoon/evening chap. If you stay in the inside lane doing 70, you'll be undertaking pretty much everything else on the road.

I use the M69, M6, M42 and M5 every week for my commute, and undertake on them all except the 69 which isn't too bad.

I was once driving the M6 toll road, it was completely clear except some idiot in land 2 and someone passing them in lane 3, I went past both in lane 1 thinking "if this guy moves over I can at least take the hard shoulder".

In the past I've had to take the central reservation as someone moved into lane 3 when I was in it, somehow it wasn't built up, just painted on? I hit a fallen road sign and all that happened was the CD player skipped, BMW know how to make a solid car.

Out of curiosity, why not just get in lane 3 behind the other guy and go round the idiot in 2, then wait for the car in front of you in 3 to pull in so you've then gone round them both?

Good on him, hopefully lesson learned. Did this other guy not notice him, or just expect him to move?

That's what I'd do the other 499 times but on this day I just wasn't in the mood; and perhaps like this they're more likely to learn the error of their ways, but this is probably just wishful thinking.
