Hello all. I've been lurking here for a few weeks now and just decided to post.

In the next 2-3 months i'm gonna be building my first computer, and have allready come up with a theme, Medieval/fantasy. Only problem is i havent seen any medieval mods done yet, so no inspiration or ideas.

I've been thinking of using chains somewhere in the mod. Maybe put something like reinforced wood on the side, ya know with the metal bars going vertically down the side? i cant think of much by myself :wallbash: and thought some people more experianced in modding could help me out.

    Thanks in advance

You know, kind of like an old stone color.

*edit* oh, and that drawbridge idea is great. I could do that for a front panel door...keep the idea's comming

That's a pretty cool idea, if you used styrene (sp?) to make the sides appear to be made out of stone that'd be neat. Maybe put a tower or something and use it as an exhaust or housing for an lcd.

why don't you put a draw bridge as a cover for an lcd

get one of those sword letter openers and put it inside or something

put orange leds in a housing in the shape of torches

    dragon ornament somewhere?

maybe get some action figures, knights, wizards, stuff like that at a hobby store?

I found this on ebay. As soon as i saw it i thought it'd look awsome if i cut out the middle and sit it on top of a blowhole.

tartan : scottish clan plaid pattern - think japanese & catholic schoolgirl uniform.

If you are doing a medieval case, how about a working scale model of a trebuchet with a little MiniITX board hidden in the bottom. could use it to launch AOL discs into the neighbors yard or someting.

    in case you dont know.

make a door and instead of the door opening side to side, make it like a draw bridge. Its held up by chains also. That would be cool

    omfg trebuchet trebuchet! do it! !!!! !!. !. !!!!!!.

    111

ok seriously that dragon would look nice, but i think it needs some nice led fire coming out of its mouth

    the castle also needs....

    BATTLE DAMAGE!!!

get some burn marks, scarring, some holes maybe, and some little arrows

you totally need a fight inside the case between some knights or something
have the window covered by a draw bridge

hell, put draw bridges all over the place

this post has been brought to you by red bull

red bull, smaller than bawls, but twice as expensive.
