Government: Who cares about security, look at all the money and uncontrolled access to peoples lives we farm?

 

It should make those driverless cars they are developing real interesting.

 

IIRC, haven't hackers already demonstrated that driverless cars are rather vulnerable?

Yup, here is an example. Others include being able to disable brakes, control accelerators on 4x4's, cars and HGVs! OK, so sometimes physical access is needed... but I doubt it'll be long after wifi-in-engines that such hacks will be possible remotely...
