Yeah, get the real thing. I cheaped out on my first one and bought something similar to your link for my first. It lasted about two hours. Luckily, the store took it back and I got a deal on a real Dremel for my trouble.
GO for a real dremel, they are soo nice, if ya got the cash get a xpr version, there super nice, if not and your like me get the variable speed one 5-30k rpms, works great!
http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/produ...022&entryFlag=false&PRODID=167478&paintCatId= thats what i've got and its been fine for what i've been using it for but thats mainly been sanding and grinding. i've not tryed cutting sheet metal with it tho coz i have a jigsaw and metal blades i just use the "dremel" for tidying up
i bought a Black and decker dremel clone for 35 quid the other week in B&Q, only a few k less rpm (but the 6 speed as opposed to 2 speed on the basic dremel) i've been cutting like no tomorrow and its been a pleasure to use.
Unlike most of the Dremel knockoffs the B&D RTX is a nice tool. I used one a while back on a non-modding related project and it worked like a charm.
i went to b&q just now, they had a dremel £75 , anda B&D one for £60 they didnt have a b&q one tho i didnt buy one as i didnt wanna spend that kinda money.
