Install the Zombemod if that's the case. It turns it into a survival horror where the Zombies will break down barricades given enough time.

Admittedly; A game shouldn't need modding to add features as simple as those, but a game can outlive the expected lifespan because of mods. Just look at Oblivion and Fallout 3.

 

My friends told me for a year I should play it and when 1.8 came out I gave in. That was the biggest mistake in a long time as my social life has shrunk to the people on our minecraft server.
Just cant get enough of this game. Once you start with Redstone circuits everything gets crazy

 

there is, set up a server with two players giuve each other a ten minute build period then attack

there are also servers out there with persitant PVP with people building hidden mob spawners in order to mine goodies to attack the others with

Joe, you forgot the mods, the endless, amazing mods. Look up the AMCO pack (only for 1.81 currently), it turns the game from amazing to truely awesome... I lost 70 hours to it last week...

 

Am I the only person who can't compare this to Terraria? Yes they both have the same Physics...


But one is 3D and the other is 2D...And both have different play styles..

But yeah, back on topic, Minecraft is a game with endless possibilites..I cannot think of one thing which cannot be modded in it..

I downloaded Minecraft a few days ago and haven't been able to stop since
It's an utterly fantastic game, completely addictive, well worth the money.

 

I was done with my Lego phase in the Seventies.
I prefer Battlefield 3 now.

 

You're done with your Lego phase? There is nothing I wouldn't give as an aduly to have an endless supply of lego to build ever more complex things. I wasn't even finished with my Lego phase when I had to grow up

Need to have some kids of my own so I can play with Lego again

 

Who needs kids as an excuse? A few months ago I spent £80 on a Lego crane.. why? Because it's ****ing Lego!
