So I want to mod this phone case I have that lets you play retro games (Mario, donkey Kong, Galaga) and have it run any game I want/develop that it can run. When I plug it into my computer, as expected, it doesn’t pop up in the USB section. How do I access the drive? Fine with cracking it open (though I would prefer not to) or making some necessary purchases under 40 bucks. Other than that, all I can do is just hope and pray they didn’t put any effort into security on it! https://www.amazon.com/Gameboy-Hand...ords=Gaming+phone+case&qid=1631460048&sr=8-15 this is basically it, but I have an iPhone SE/6 size. 2 in fact because my first ones screen broke since I was a moron but it still runs. That’ll be my testing case
dont think you can add stuff to iphones hdd/storage unless you jailbreak it but then its still a faff. its much easier to reporpose droid based phones
I think he's just on about modifying the OS for the case, and not the phone. Try downloading a Linux live USB and see if it recognises it as a USB storage device. But my first guess is it's a simple SOC and won't be accessable.
