I previously did a wireless optical logitech mouse the nice black one with a blue light.
well now I plan on doing the dual optical version with blue lights muhahha should look sweet.
oh and if your thinking of buying the dual optical go for it the mouse rocks.

    blast you!
I would really like to see what these leds look like because they have a lot higher mcd rating then the blues.
what site did you get them off of?
I was thinking of getting some from here.
they sell blue and aqua also.. you think the blue green is aqua?

can you punk me 2 if possible from your friend? I will pay you for the shipping yes no?

and yes you can put a blue led inside a intelli mouse explorer but you will not see it as blue the bottom plastic is red so it will change the color (look purple?) never seen one done, but if you do it make sure you have a really bright blue led one with a small viewing angle it is more direct light.. or maybe not but a higher rated mcd blue led will work well for you.
and to get that mouse appart you have to move the little pads on the botton the screws are underneath them.
    good luck

Um would a 9000 mcd aqua LED with an 18º viewing angle be okay for changing the main red led on the Intellemouse?

I would say yes, although I dont know how aqua does with the tracking, but considering the viewing angle and mcd rating, try it....!

Just my personal opinion but the logitech dual optical sucks for anything other than desktop usage... ie; dont try using it for gaming it's crap

    are you kidding me!
you must be smoking some really bad stuff.
I play a lot better in halflife with the dual optical then I do with my microshaft intelli explorer.

There was something wrong with the tracking on that mouse... it kept getting confused. I tried generic windows drivers (xp pro), and the logitech (out of box, then updated) and it was still teh same. i also tried loads of "fixes" for it, but nothing worked. Good ol' ball mouse works great though!
