Hey, need a little cash, Im skint at the moment, student money sucks. hehe Anyone know of any online jobs I can do to earn a few pennies? Anyone done these 'Earn £1000 a week' that I see in the adverts? are they genuine? Thanks in advance
No I havn't personally..but there is a way past online casinos that you can win everytime ...yes everytime, but the process is very slow, you could earn $10 every 10 mins if you didn't get too bored. Its too late for me to explain the whole process now, but if no one else does i'll msg you it when I next have a chunk of free time. A downside is though, that the univeristy might block the ports you need to have open to use the casino program.
My older brother just got £300 for drug testing a week or so ago. All he had to do for four days was sit around, watch TV and report any side effects if he experienced any. If you're really strapped for cash, quick money + no work = medical testing. The downside is you could end up like those guys that reacted to TGN1412.
Some people I know would pay to test drugs Seriously though, it's not something that I would consiter - you don't know what could happen to you.
You might get a rash, big whoop... try selling blood and semen along with medical testing, I'd do it if there aren't any age restrictions and there were places nearby...
Blood does not get paid for in the UK as far as I am aware. Drug testing is also generally a bad idea, there was one such high-profile media case recently where a guy got frostbite and lost I believe all of his toes and some of his fingers as well as being in a coma for around three weeks. link to article about it Your best bet is to perhaps sell some old stuff you no longer want or need, or perhaps, see if there are any weekend shifts or something going on at your local grocers? Sure the job may be as such un-interesting but it will pay you something
IIRC There are a few private companies that will pay up to £100 for a pint of blood but you have to be available for donation within 24hrs or theres one company that pay £60 if you can donate within 7 days.
Of course they are genuine. Lots of companies are just waiting to pay you craploads of hard money for doing practically piss all. Why, all these families barely surviving on benefits or low incomes are just so stupid to live the way they do. I mean, if you have to ask, you are desperate. Desperately lazy, that is. Do as any other student does, and get yourself a part-time job.
Not always possible. I am a student in a similar situation (desperate need of money), and I already tried a job. Couldn't fit it in along with the uni workload and other commitments. I had to lose the job before the uni work suffered too much. Of course, if the uni work isnt that important to you, by all means get a job. But at my uni, on my course (Computing, Bournemouth Uni), pretty much all the people with jobs still live at home. Says something, no?
LOL... actually you are. I think since moving back to bournemouth for this (uni) year, I've been like 4 times ever. And thats for the great cooked breakfasts they do, rather than drink. But no, what I was actually referring to by that was website work which I do occasionally. Would like to take it further and make more money from it, but time will tell...
Weird. Last night I was reading an article in FHM about semen donating. In the US you get paid about $75 a pop, or something - with no limit on how many times you go. Whereas in the UK, they can only pay you up to £250 a pop, and a maximum of £500 total (2 goes). Factor in the chance of your future child being able to look up their Dad when they hit 18... doesn't sound so appealing.
Want money => Get a job Beg for money on a forum => Get a custom title from the mod's ( there are some that know what I mean)
Already explained the difficulties associated with that. You may want to read this post, since you obviously havent yet. Pretty sure nobody has begged. If I (or the original poster, etc etc) were to post our paypal addresses and say please donate, then that would be begging. But as you may (or may not) be able to tell, nobody has done that. Pretty sure asking for advice isnt begging, and also isnt against the rules. Which is what this thread was. Just hate the way people with money think people without it are below them.
I feel your pain --or rather, I did when I was a student (ah, the good ol' days). I was in the same position and I lived at home during that time too. I never went to the pub, and in fact I don't think I ever went out during those years. The only late nights I spent was hunched over books. Just hate the way people without money think people with it came to it easy. I think what people are reacting to is conteoAMD apparently asking for a quick (easy) way to make substantial amounts of cash. This may understandably generate cynical replies in some whose experience is that they generally have to work hard for their money. TINSTAAFL.
