*hears the growing noise of people whispering "Sam-a-sung-a, Sam-a-sung-a"*
or something to that effect..
... and there ain't gonna be a closing tag matey!
once i bought a mac laptop.... i swore i'd never buy a pc based one ever again.... i just love titanium too much
and on a side note, the plug setup like that isn't new... apple has been doing it that way since the first iBooks.... if not longer
nice to see that someone else finally caught on to how damn useful it is
Who am I kidding, GIMMIE I WANT IT!!!
Give us some, real world battery usage...
ive never wanted a laptop so much before in my life....
go on the GOO how much u shell out for it then?
You haven't read the rest of the thread then....
It was just under £2K, from Digi-Uk
im fairly sure i did read it all but then ive been up for around 28hrs so please can i be excused for not being able to read properly please sir?
Ok - you're excused. And get some sleep man!
No excuse for not posting news 24/7 now GOO
Seriously, that is a dang nice machine. Top marks
Just in case anyone was wondering what the Sony VAIO Z1SP looks like that was mentioned earlier, well here is a pic ...
Now personally I think they look as good as each other, I WANT BOTH OF THEM
Yeah - almost went for the Sony, as I'm a Slave to the big S. But the price put me off - VAIO's are hellishly expensive compared to other laptops on a spec for spec basis. Plus it's not as thin as the Samsung, and the X10 also had the mem stick slot (first time I've seen it on a non Sony bit of kit)
[SideNote] Those CD-RW seen in the pic with the sony laptop are SHI*, they're supposedly "high speed" and the recording speed is limited to 10X, not good, want 24X on ma shiny new Sony RW; the point - don't buy them unless you can cop with 10X or less (depends on the drive, sometimes they limit to 1X)[/SideNote]
Nice laptop GOO, shame it's not with me. I still prefer my rig though.
I really like the new sharp notebook pc.
Granted it's only a 1GHz transmeta, but it is MEGA small and has a docking cradle that you stand the laptop in vertically, and it automatically syncs with your desktop pc, appearing as another hard drive.
This would be really useful for me next year when I start doing my research at various sites alround oxford.
And as for looks, I don't think you can beat the new apple iBooks. They look fappin' gorgeous.
did I see a scratch on the top of your new laptop in one of thoes pics? (the pic where your showing the extended battery on the back of the laptop)
is it one?
Nah - It's just a stray hair. Nothing to panic about folks, move along....
sure. sure.. heh jk
