ok i have win2000 and gfx card that fully supports open gl (all ver) i need to know where i can download opengl casue for some reson my comp eather dosnt have open gl installed or it cant render it (how do you tell if you have open gl or not????) my gfx card is a pic-E 16x geforce pcx w/ 256MB
It's more likely a driver issue... especially if it's PCI-E and Win2k. Last I knew you didn't need to download OGL. Could also be a screwed card.
Yeah you don't really download OpenGL as such, not like you would download DirectX. Your graphics card drivers will have an OpenGL implementation DLL though (providing they support OpenGL). The application developer just uses the standard interface (defined by the OpenGL specification and extensions) and the card specific code is linked from the DLL at runtime. Could you be more specific about what you're running that's not working?
