There are no fans so the secret weapon would be good housekeeping.

So, what is left then? Also, you say there will be no fans. Will convection be good enough (as the fins stand horizontally, severely impeding the efficiency)?

second: that lighting is just. Plain. Cool

Straight up bump for this 2013 Project. No apologies.

I joined these forums 10 years today and I have 994 posts. I need six posts before midnight or something turns back into a pumpkin. Not sure what.

Projects like this make me want to chuck SketchUp down and go off sulking in a corner. How can I compete with that?!?

really love this project, If I could change anything it would be the top, making it flat with an inlay pattern.

However it does look a little like a humidor :)

What a fantastic looking wee case. really makes the most of the passive cooler. When the LED's are on it reminds me of an old electric fire! Would be interested to see how it looks with a chequerboard or inlaid wooden top but if it was flat people may set something on top (drinks aargh) so the curved top is probably safer! Lovely job, well done.

There is an official flat-top version that can be easily swapped out. I like both.

I started using SketchUp this summer. It isn't perfect but it is a great tool.

Humidor PC. What a crazy idea. :hehe: I like the idea of a convertible top.

Thanks! The lights were fun to play with. I tried several different setups before deciding.

Worth repeating. Human lazy susan. :hehe: Wait to the end to see the cover removed.
