I used 3 because thats the only one with the 1st person cheat, which allows you to play the game from a 1st person perspective. :naughty: :naughty: (nontheless I still believe that THSP3PC is still the best in the series, :p )

I've moved the project log out to a seperate thread to keep it tidy as I have much more to add and don't wish things getting lost in the posts...

    Comments in this thread please.

You can looky here for updates.

And I'll post here when I update the other thread if you do not wish to subscribe to it.

Great case! love the water cooling and the TFT's!!

Two quick questions - Where say in quake 3 do you enable it the use multiple screens? Or do you force it?

Also you stated "The Parhelia splits DVI output 2 to 2 RGB connections so you can use a multitude of screen combinations" - IF i had such a connector would that be possible with a radeon 9700 pro?

    Thanks

I'm afraid the Parhelia is the only GPU to support surround gaming.

Quake only provides standard screen res. so you modify the cfg file to the large resolutions. Matrox provide a utility to do this for you. The FOV is also adjusted to give the wide field of vision.

If you're wanting to get into Surround gaming I suggest you wait till Matrox release a new GPU, or ATI/ Nvidia catch up in this department. :D
The Parhelia is an extremely good graphics card however, unless you've got money to throw away, getting one purely for gaming now would be a bit of a waste of money (price/ perfomance).

Aye. I'm afraid I missed keeping discussion out of your worklog. Sorry Mate. Hope a mod can delete it for you.

I wish I could afford that monitor setup you have there. I can't wait to see the end of your log.

Dude that is a seriously nice setup up!

Don't suppose you'd be interesting in parting with the dualie board + cpus + ram (if registered ram required)?

The dual setup is occupying a server box now... Good bit of kit that was! Just not fast enough for video.

This project is still ongoing... the log won't be finished anytime soon!

...and it's against the rules unfortunately.

Which would you prefer... for me to merge the threads, or just delete this one? It's mostly spam anyway heh.
