Hmm, not IPS sadly but at least it's 60Hz over display port. It's a damn pretty thing too, very elegant, nor is it absurdly expensive either. Still waiting for a solid IPS version that doesn't cost the earth though, can't be too long now can it?

Deal braker. I had a TN 28" monitor a while back and it was great, but the screen had a noticeable gradient to it even from up close. TN just doesn't work on large displays. I would never spend £500 on TN...maybe others would.

Specs look good but no IPS and the GPU power need for gaming put me off...

These monitors are on Ebay direct from Korea. Guess Overclockers had ordered a load from them. :D

I'm tempted to get a 4K display before the Summer to sit on top of my triple monitors. :)

Yeah I know of someone who has one already. Looks to be a decent screen. Gaming at 4K is just too much though, even for 3 / 4 card setups!

I'm sure the extra bandwidth of Haswell-E, X99, DDR4, and Maxwell will change that soon.

Though my setup at the mo is pushing most games 60fps @ 5960x1080. :)

Ahh man, this is so tempting. Bought a ultra wide 29" not to long ago. Will see when these 4K's get release with a IPS panel

I might be tempted with one at the end of May but not sure yet.

Too early for me. The hardware required to drive these in more intense games is slightly insane. Also, at this pace, within a year there will be something like a 4k version of the Dell U2713HM for a similar price or even slightly cheaper. Proper IPS panel, decent out of the box calibration, broad connection support.

Hardware is just one part of the story, everything I've read and seen about software support for these displays makes me want to cry a bit. It'll get there, but I'll let other crazy (and rich) people do the beta testing for me.
