Ewwww it looks like my GNU/Linux Mail server at work, but it does have a butch "Come on ya ponch!!!" look to it.

On a side note, have they produced a shuttle-a-like which runs the pentiumM class yet because a 2Ghz M and a gf660 would make a kick ass lan gamer.

although looking a bit ugly that case is high quality made by chemming usa. Its internals are very good aswell and the rear vent is 120mm.

im considering one as my next case... but I will have to mod it to make it prety :naughty:

good starter with that case would be getting rid of the rear fan grill and going round the edge with black moulding.

Also replacing the window with the graphics card with ethier mesh or an air duct so your graphics card gets cooler air and the fan can spin slower...

The psu grill is way too restrictive that definatly needs removing.

you could get somthing like an Xp120 heatsink and use a duct like this and eliminate the need for a cpu fan. (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_3716.html)

fitting sound insulation foam under mobo and front of case mainly to help with cable hiding.

fit an artic cooler to your graphics card so that noise is reduced and graphics heat isn't added to case.

It's what im planing to do to mine when I get one... but I am trying to go fro minimum noise :thumb:

    yer sounds good!

i'm planning to watercool mine tho, so one the back 120mm hole will be a radiator, so taking the grill out is a def! will almost def be getting a new psu, so might as well replace the back bit as i'm there!

i will consider putting a fan in the side panel, but want to keep it as quite as posible and with the watercooling the only overheatin probs will be the chipset (which isn't getting watercooled) and the general sysem (with memory) so a fan on each side might be helpful for the airflow over the mobo, could get one of those coolermaster crossflow fans!

    what ya think?

well I'd go for the same layout as the case you were going to buy..... it's got good airflow pleanty of space round cpu ect. But I would make it much much better looking! you will also need to think about what psu your going to use and mold the case around that.... I would also try and include one of those cross blower fans.

yer, i quite fancy doing something completly diff tho!

heres a basic deisgn i came up with!

there are 2 small windows which will be perspex, and the tubes from the watercooling will come out here!
one of the 2 fans will be for the rad!

looks nice :D only problem is you need to make use the narrow side with mobo going up has enough sticky out space for ram and stuff, maybe cpu heatsink will get in the way :jawdrop: :blah:
