Can't believe this piece of brilliance went seemingly un-noticed.
Hah! you mentioned the only two I forgot: 7-zip and TrueCrypt.
iTunes (Don't like it becuase its an apple product, but its better than everything else)
K-Lite Codec Pack
Putty, Eterm, Conky, Irrsi, Firefox, mutt, Fluxbox
You mean the... GUI... telnet/ssh client?!
Paint Shop Pro. Been using it since ver.2 or 3, now happy with 8.
Corel Draw. Started with v3, now 9.
Word and Excel.
For everything else, there are alternatives I could use without serious pain so the particular program name is less important.
Would be a pain in the ass if I didn't have some of the above.
firefox/scite/visual studio/putty/smartftp/windows critical updates
firefox, outlook 2007, msn, VNC, activsync, winamp
Firefox, iTunes, putty, WinaXe, frostwire, Microsoft DNS Server for Windows 2000 Server, CdBurnerXP pro, Openoffice.org, TightVNC.
Firefox, VLC (good codec support, but replaceable), Gtalk, Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% (Nero style app)
most of the time I just use what works, but for any windows-based installation daemon tools is a must have (mounts just about any CD image type, even DJ .cue discs)
: for those of you wondering why, its because I hate swapping discs, and the daemonscript plugin allows for easy game CLI mods
Firefox, Foobar2k, Rad Host Client, and uTorrent.
-Stepmania. That game is like a drug.
-Windows Live Messenger.
-CCleaner. I could live without it, it just makes cleaning up your computer a hell of a lot easier.
-Paint. The godliest of all photo editing programs.
K-Lite Codec (MPC)
Firefox, Winamp, OpenOffice, and ObjectDock. And games, of course.
gbpvr, xmltv grabber, firefox, hip remote, vlc, spybot.
Opera, Opera, Opera.
