How do you guys with many harddrives use water cooling? I got the Lian LI PC75B which is a huge case. After putting my WC equipment in and relocating the lower drive bay to on top of the power supply, i only have room for 3 harddrives. Einhein pump takes 2 5" drive bays Radiator takes bottom drive bay (which is relocated to top of psu) The radiator is a JR-120 with a 120mm chrome fan. The thing is, I got 2 300 gigs comming in. How do you guys do it? Do you leave the drive on the case floor and attach with cellotape? btw this is some pics of my case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811112040 Here's where the lower bay is (lol the top drive bay is held by cellotape)
Generally, mount the rad in the roof of the case, pump on the base of the case, res wherever you can (usually fit a bayres in a CD Bay, or a tube res externally on the rear of the case down the side of the PCI Slots).... which usually leaves all 3.5" bays free and u only end up sacrificing 5.25" bays if using a triple rad. eg:
why not move your pump to the bottom of your case. turn it 90 degrres so the back of it is facting the motherboard tray. just an idea. anyway my rig has a D4 pump, 120.2 rad. duel bay res. got 4 x 5inch bay things. 3HDD floppy and button thing. and i've still got 1 hdd bay left. i'll have 2 more free when i can get that 200Gig i want. so to answer i 3 HDD and a lot of other stuff.
