    Saw this on another forum, so I thought I would do it here for the bit-tech buddies.

    For all of you on bit-tech anyone that would want/need and begs for a Google Wave Invite then reply to this post, and hopefully we can get some invites dished out.

    One rule with this thread, is that if you get invited that you make sure that you send invites to posters on this thread and hopefully we would have some great Google Waver's with us.

    Well, I'll guess I'll start the thread.

    "I would love to have a Google Wave Invite" I think it is an amazing product. I am begging anyone here on bit-tech or not bit-tech to send me an invite, and I promise to dish out the invites to the rest of you on this thread."

    PS: Also, if you do end up getting one.. update your post with the message that you already have one now so that you don't get double invited.


    On Wave

    This is as close to accurate as we can get, although private trades continue and not everyone updates their status. If you end up with 2 invites (or more) please consider adding them back into this pool - thanks!

    A brief description is a web platform that will revolutionise the way we collaborate, communicate and interact with each other over the internet.

    It's a one place platform that is here to replace e-mail as it combines email, IM, server side hosting, blogging, twitting, facebooking, forum posting.. all in one place

    It does look fantastic and it is all open source, so hopefully if this protocol takes off, it should kill email in the next few years and this will be dominant. As email is a 40 year old technology and it hasn't changed much since then.

    Also they are handing out 100'000 invites and the very first batch was out to sandbox developers but after that they randomly chose from all the people that had requested an invite from the google wave website.
