Have a look. http://www.halfkeyboard.com/halfkeyboard/index.html Now I NEED to get myself one of this!! This is way too cool for ITX projects... A bit expensive though
So you can hold your 'stylus' in the other Soz --- Seems a little weird really, though like the idea that the space bar is used to change the letters over...
Myke, you're gonna need more than a dremel to build something like that Like to see it tried though Darkside.
uhm ... for 100 bux i can get 3 or 4 nice WHOLE keyboards ... seems a ripoff to me, and too much learning curve to boot
I remember seeing a keyboard made with 5 or so buttons which was supposed to revolutionise the industry, think it may have been on "Tommorows World" (UK prog) many moons ago. Darkside...You may have a point! I was just planning on cutting my keyboard in half... Won't that work?
Yeah remember it... sounded cool though was stupid! Anyone see the one that was projected onto the desk with a lazer and recognised keypresses by the reflections sent back... that was cool
Gimme a couple of hours, I'll run and get my "service keyboard" from the car and try it...... If it all goes Pete Tong, I'll just order another from the guys at Build Darkside.
Yea but what about a HTPC? Imagine putting a mini-ITX AND this keyboard in a Maplin project box, may be with a really small finger trackball too, oh and a 5" TFT display. That would be REAL cool.
thats way to small for me i'm content to do the standard "dremelize a keyboard" routine if i need a keypad that small.
