Multi The World Of Tanks thread

Lol, I had a game in a KV once, which is slow as you must be well aware. I was the top tank, everything else was faster than me. Everyone split up and went off and got killed. I didn't get to the action until they were all dead and they then yelled at me for not helping!!!
I took out 5 tanks before the enemy team gang banged me and killed me.
Had they stayed back and waited for the heavy to slowly roll to the front and help, we could of won.
But I was the newbie...

 

had the weidest thing just...
had my kv derp in a match...and hit a tiger in the base of the backside of the turret and it just stopped...it still had 25%~ health left...but it dissapeared of the minimap, didnt move or shoot for the rest of the game...
did the uber derp trolcannon cause hit internet to explode

 

All the crew dead ? Had it happen to me but the other way round

100% crew kill, had a kv hit my is4 and kill it with 100% health left...

I had a one to one with a higher Tier tank which I lost. And he started slagging me off because he thought I exited the game. (I didnt). Then he sent a private message after the game slagging me off some more. Mike

 

Happy Hetzer game Not the greatest stats in the world but good for me .

You'd have thought you'd get more than 2259xp for managing that kind of impressive feat!

 

That's about right, assuming most of those would be finishing blows rather than 1v1 duels. Nice match though brooksy.

I'm not sure what to do next in this game - I don't know if I should flesh out my USA/CCCP/German tanks or push hard up the med/heavy/both French lines. I have the IS-7, T30, E-100, IS-4, Object 261, T-54, T30, E-75, VK4502B plus some other lower tiers in my garage but I can't decide if I should repurchase my Object 704 for fun, an IS-3 for Champion company battles and push to an E-50 and Maus, or go French. I'm mainly just venting, but I'm open to opinions.

 

I have to be honest and say that the light French line is a total blast. Ideally I'd use fee xp to jump straight into tier 5 with the AMX12t since the AMX40 is, without doubt, the worst tank in the entire game but once you get into the 12t, and afterwards the AMX 13 75, it's just a lolfest. Small fast, powerful guns for the tier which fire fast.

With the 12t I went 1v1 with a Panther and won. He shot first, hit me for about 80% of my HP, he then died as I stuck 6 shots up his ass before he could reload You don't survive much but they're like T-50's with a big-ass gun! (literally no armour though lol)

If you fancy a look at how they move and fire hit me up in game and we'll go to a practice field so you can a fully upgraded 13 75 and what it's capable of.

I am really struggling with the AMX 12t I am always one of the bottom tiers in battles and you can't move the turret up or down enough, dont they have hills in france? Maybe I'll do better in the 13.

 

Derp! Should have mentioned that. You're quite right, their big weakness is a woeful upward angle on the gun.

It can be tough I will agree but even at the bottom all the time I just had a blast dashing about booming at stuff bigger than me

 

Throbbi, thanks for the offer but I'm on the NA server. I did grind up to the BatChat and AMX50B on the test server and had good fun, which is why I can't decide .

 

Ahh i see lol. Can't wait to get up to the BatChat or even the 13 90. If the 13 75 is this much fun, the bigger ones can only be more fun!

 

Gun depression made the 12t unviable for me. Just finished it and am saving for the 75 while I carry on with the GDR.

Xeno, I think you should aim for whatever is useful in CW, the french heavy is looking quite useful and should be very powerful if they manage to get FOW working. I need to save to but a 704 for the first time but I suppose you need to think why you sold it in the first place. I have quite a few tanks in my garage I just play for doubles.

I think angry young men need to be ignored, as with all PvP games there is alot of testosterone flying about. If you check thier stats usually the biggest complainers don't have good stats and it seems to be the root of thier frustrations.

got my first 15 < 0 today even tho they had a kv3 and a kv1s and our heavest was a slugger
(followed by my 3001p )
currently working on alot of tanks ( mostly to make money for the 3601 / tigerP
but im thinking to gettign the tiger from the tigerP ( as its ALOT cheeper and id get more xp from using the tigerP ( oweing to the rather nice long 88 )

 

Was on a team that lost 0-15 and on one that won 15-0 yesterday.

 

its SO distressing when you lose 0-15...but its worse when your 4-14 and you got all 4..
ive had opponents say stuff like
'holy god lilgoth talk about a team of noobs you got'

my team on the other had...decided i was a noob for not helping them...
