Tom Cruise is an idiot. I mean come on, Scientology!? You all know that Scientology is a religion CREATED by author L. Ron Hubbard, right? Do a bit of research on the "religion" and you'll find that Scientology is against any form of phychiatry that isn't paid for within the religion itself. In other words, Scientology has their own physciatrists and you must pay them.

Cruise argues that phychiatry is a pseudo science. I really wish Lauer came back with Scientiology is a pheudo religion.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. He uses an arguement that could have easily been used back at him. But I don't think Matt wanted to get into a hissy fit with Tom Cruise, big actor crap.

You could see though that Matt was getting pissed at Tom because of how stupid he was acting. But I give Matt alot of credit for keeping his cool.

Or, I'm Tom Cruise, I have a new film coming out.. I think of Tom Cruise the same way I do about Russell Crowe; the only place I want to see him opening his mouth is in a film.

^--- Me too. Actors are good at lieing, like politicians and lawyers, and talking about things that they have no clue about and making it sound like they know everything about it. That's why they are actors :D

Basicly it just comes down to you have to use IE to watch it.

Its not even worth it tbh to watch. I don't mind Tom as an actor and hes had some good movies, but damn I can't stand actors trying to get attention.

    Thank you :D

I had heard this from one of my best friends in America, who is exremely well read, but I could not remeber who created it.

As to your comments about Tom Cruise being an Idiot, I do not agree.
I am not a religious person, but religions are a faith (in my opinion a ridiculous faith), where they have some type of god or super natural being.

But Tom Cruise makes some very good points, and appears has done his research, so at least he is giving judgements based on some knowledge.

And he also seems to be a genuine and honest person, just doesn't fit the (so called) normal mold.
What's more important, Honest and Genuine, or being considered Normal?

Might not mean much to the United Statesians amongst you, but I think Tom Cruise is going a bit David Icke. Next thing is he'll be denouncing food and will advocate breathetarianism.

We* all know that scientology has major issues with any experts that they do not supply, in a manner similar to the Roman Catholic church of the middle ages.

*I mean any individual capable of freedom of thought.

But therein is the problem. Scientology is an organization, not a true religion. From the Wikipedia: The Church of Scientology was first incorporated in Camden, New Jersey as a nonprofit organization in 1953. Today it forms the center of a complex worldwide network of corporations dedicated to the promotion of L. Ron Hubbard's philosophies in all areas of life. Not once in the description are they talking about a "God" figure which is the central crux of any religion. The only reference to any mythological being is when they talk about Xenu:

For instance, the 1958 book Have You Lived Before This Life (ISBN 0884044475) documents Scientologists' past lives being "deceived into a love affair with a robot decked out as a beautiful red-haired girl", being run over by a Martian bishop driving a steamroller, being transformed into an intergalactic walrus which perished after falling out of a flying saucer and being "a very happy being who strayed to the planet Nostra 23,064,000,000 years ago". :eyebrow: Uh, yea. Okay... If you say so...

Again, from the Wikipedia: Scientology is officially represented by the controversial Church of Scientology. The Church presents itself as a non-profit religious organization dedicated to encouraging development of the human spirit. Providing counseling and rehabilitation programs, the Church offers itself as an alternative to psychiatry, which Scientologists believe to be a barbaric and corrupt profession. [1] Church spokespeople attest that Hubbard's teaching (called "technology" or "tech") has freed them from drug and alcohol addictions, depression, learning disabilities, mental disorders and other problems. The only research that Tom Cruise has done is within the "Church" of Scientology itself with no independant or outside research. Which in my opinion, is quite a small-minded, obstinant point of view.

If you all haven't figured this out by now, I have major issues with the "Church of Scientology". The whole thing is just a HUGE, MASSIVE cult of greed and power which caters to the rich and famous under the guise of a church. They have tax exempt status while raking in serious cash. In fact, in order to obtain help from these people you need to fork out a minimum of $2,800 per "course"!

So, I'll say it again, Tom Cruise is an idiot. I'll even take it a step further and say that anyone who's been duped into this Scientology gig is an idiot. Just do a Google about Scientology and see for yourself.

Dad, I don't know how you know what Tom Cruise has read, but maybe you could tell us?

Hey, Tom Cruise, if you're out there reading, you had better give us a list of all the research you've read :hehe:

But yes, I agree with you on the Scientology thing OKAY :D
