Yes! That is pretty comprehensive for tinkering with phones and tablets. I DO have a set of dedicated quality PC screwdrivers with nice grips that I've built up. I use a Phillips 2 [PH2] most of the time. HP PCs use Torx T15, which I have, but you really only need a couple of screwdrivers to get you going.
#2 Phillips is all you need for most of it... might need a smaller + headed one for m.2 screws. And a kettle. Kettle is a must.
Last PC I built I used nowt but one of these - though I paid twice as much 'cos I fell for Schrade's claim it had developed the tool itself. It had not; it had bought them in from China, stencilled its own logo on, and doubled the price.
Two screwdrivers, one tiny (for m.2), one medium (everything else), make sure both are magnetic Cable ties Scissor to cut the cable ties. Everything else is overkill for standard pc assembly.
Yeah that is overkill but i'm looking at them too just so I have something for all sorts of tinkering. A couple of quid less at amazon at the mo too.
That'd be OK, but it may be too stubby and short to reach what you need to get at. Some good advice out there too
Yes over kill, that point has been well established. I use to use a fancy ratcheting screw driver, but it is bulk and hard to use in tight spaces. A long shaft phillips #2 will sever you better (despite phillips being the second most useless screw head). Don't go for exchangeable bits as it make the tip bulk and again makes it hard to reach areas. Depending on the case manufacture, they might include the required tool. Fingers work just as well. Do you know what case you are going to use, you can check the manual for a list of recommended tools.
