Why are people obsessed with football games? Each new version of FIFA or PES seems to be exactly the same as last year's version (with updated teams).

Clearly you don't play them ;), Fifa 11 imo is a big improvement over 10, the manager / be a pro modes have been given a overhaul and are much improved, the gameplay and animations are also much improved and the game feels and plays a lot better.
Cannot comment on PES as I have not tried that one yet although by all accounts it a massive improvement over the last one.

New vegas is almost here. I hope Obsidian can clear part of the mess that bethesda did to FO3. But still they will be using that crap engine...

The bigger question is, why the kin hell do people still, even now after enough copy's for most of the world to now have a copy still insist on buying that crap that is The Sim's?

Sometimes I understand why some console fanboys bash PC gaming ...

thought about buying it aswell but the shiny orange "low violence version" tag (buggy and disappearing zombies)
put me off again (it was on the summer sale aswell)

I refuse to buy a mangled(steam-enforced) version. (My OrangeBox is untouched though)
