I've got a shiny new Ubuntu Live CD for my athlon 64 laptop (HP Pavilion zv6005US). It gets to the screen where it asks me what to boot, I type in something like: boot# live vga=771 noapic (sp?) And it starts up the debian installer. The first screen is asking for my language, and I cannot get past that. Another guy on the ubuntu forums is having the same problem, but he said using the "6" key as enter worked fine, but of course the keyboard was mapped all crazy so it didn't matter much anyway after that. Is there anyone here who is familiar with laptops and linux and the debian installer that might have had similar issues in the past? If so... HELP! I'd really like to dual boot ubuntu 64, since I have a 64 bit processor & all.
