    Hello :)

I want little advise on something... as you know I got my self this build from brother and gave him my old one (Q9450 and 3870X2) because it was too old to run for everyday use and i do not game anymore... http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?p=3433043#post3433043

but now i want to play games like assassin creed black flag, NFS and Battlefield 4 or even Call of duty... and in future GTA 5

    so the current build is

    CPU : I3 540 @ 3.07
    RAM : 2x4G Kingstone 1333mhz DDR3
    Mobo : Gigabyte GA-H55M-D2H (rev. 1.4)
    VGA : Sapphire 6750 1GB GDDR5
Sound : Creative X-FI Xtreme Gamer
    PSU : Enermax Galaxy 1KW

    HD : 2TB Green + 1TB Green + 500GB BLUE with OS

Forgot to say that i will be playing on 32" Sony LCD HDMI Res. 1366X768 !

so i was looking to get SAPPHIRE DUAL-X R9 270X 2GB GDDR5 OC WITH BOOST for 230$ in here

will that be a reasonable update ? or the cpu gona bottleneck it :(

    thanks

Pick up a i5 750 and overclock it.

The dualie will have no chance with BF4 in MP.

I thought H55 chipset boards couldn't overclock? Or did Intel introduce the non-overclocking chipsets with Sandy Bridge? - Ignore me.

First gen i5 set ups could all overclock.

The board he has is a stellar overclocker.

I love how you have a 1kw psu.

Make no mistake, once you sort out a quad core, you'll quickly hit another wall with that 6750. If you can, get something with some more grunt gpu wise. A 560ti, 660, 6950 or 7870 would all be good choices at that res and should let you turn everything to 11 graphics wise.

... and it's an Enermax so it'll probably tick over at 1250 Watts quite happily!

hhehehe :D hell yeah :D that 1K PSU is brand new :) efficiency at highest rate ;) never loaded it at all :) It's an animal :D wights more than all other components :D and loads like a beast :D and draw crap load of power :D

yeah to wait for a i5-750 to be available as used will take sometime and luck and i don't want to upgrade the whole system because this means more cost!!!

Changing cpu, mobo and vga ( current can be sold at ) 200 - 250 $ rate !

I think i will need at least a 500 $ to get new cpu, mobo and vga ( am I right ? ) the 270X cost 230$ it self :(

    duh :(

    CPU : i5-4430 = 190$ OR AMD A10-5800K FM2 Quad-Core APU = 145 $ OR AMD A10-6800K Richland 4.1GHz FM2 Quad-Core Desktop Processor - Black Edition 180$
    Mobo: ASUS B85-PLUS Socket 1150 = 130 $ OR ASUS A55M-A Socket FM2 70$
    VGA: R9 270X = 230$

    or maybe that i5-4430 with ASRock B85M Socket 1150 for 85$ ? with that 270x ?

    Intel Build = 320$ + 230$ = 550$
    AMD Build = 215$ + 230$ = 445$

Around 100 buck save! ( I have no idea about performance ! those choice based on price tags )

but the main problem even any build will need extra 300$ after selling my current :( i didn't want that :( my max budget was 150-200$ for an update !

The 750's are very common on ebay if that is a option.
