I am thinking of getting a visa delta so I can start playing Asheron's Call 2 after enjoying the beta a lot. Now to my question. Can the VISA DELTA be accepted anywhere that visa is accepted or is that just for the VISA credit card? cheers
Yup, the card is a VISA *and* a DELTA card.. so if somewhere takes VISA, they'll take it and if somewhere takes DELTA they'll take it.
Visa Delta is just a debit card and unlike Switch not a lot of places accept it. [edit - or am I confusing this with Visa Electron]
i use my visa delta to buy alsorts, i got: MO LCD's from canada Custom PCB from malesia (sp) /USA can't remember which some software from colorado usa with it oh and the usual stuff cash machines etc. i've always used it where it says credit cards only and i have never been charged for it. I also got a cheque book with mine, Current account with lloyds TSB later AW3K
no problem m8 if you buy anything from abroard the bank automatically changes the currency acording to the exchange rate etc... AW3K
I think you are mate, because the problems you just mentioned sounds a lot like the Electron. It's a load of pap.
As it's been said... a VISA Delta card will be accepted almost EVERYWHERE, it will work as a VISA card if they don't specifically have Delta even over the interweb, unlike an Electron card which is accepted nowhere and cannot be used on the phone or over the net. Switch sux, Solo sux, Electron sux more! I love my Delta
Yup the Electron card is for kids. The normal VISA/Delta card is accepted pretty much everywhere, except places that don't accept any cards.
I got a Solo when i was 16 i think it was... everywhere accepts it, apart from Boots. I can also buy online from UK sites, and 99.9% of UK sites take Solo Its not that bad!
There is, I didn't think it was appropriate.. I was going to put an edited reason but just never got round to it.
